Logsns is an independent advertising and enquiry service. Logsns is not a government department, government website, grant administrator, Ofgem, Home Energy Scotland, the Scottish Government or part of GOV.UK.

2. What Logsns does

We publish general information about heat pumps and publicly available support routes. If you submit an enquiry, we collect and process the information you provide and may share it with relevant independent service providers, such as suitably qualified installers, surveyors or other providers able to assess and respond to your request.

Logsns does not itself determine whether you qualify for a government scheme and does not issue, approve or guarantee grants or funding.

3. England and Wales — Boiler Upgrade Scheme

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is open in England and Wales. Current published support includes £7,500 towards an eligible air-to-water heat pump, with a £9,000 level for certain eligible off-gas properties under the temporary uplift currently published through 31 March 2027. Scheme rules and availability can change.

4. Scotland — Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan

Scotland has a separate Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan. Current published support for eligible heat pumps includes grant funding of up to £7,500, with a £1,500 rural/island uplift for qualifying homes. Optional interest-free loan funding may also be available, subject to the scheme terms and funding availability.

5. Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland does not use the Boiler Upgrade Scheme or the Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan. Energy-support routes are different and eligibility depends on the relevant programme. Use the official nidirect energy advice pages to check current help.

6. No guarantee of eligibility or savings

Funding, installation suitability, costs, savings and performance depend on the property, technology, tariff, design and the applicable scheme rules. No statement on this website guarantees grant approval, a particular saving or a particular installation outcome.

7. Third-party providers

Any installer, surveyor or other provider that contacts you is an independent organisation responsible for its own advice, accreditation, quotation, contract, workmanship, warranties and regulatory obligations. You should verify a provider's credentials before entering into any agreement.
